Thanksgiving Break Fun

So this is a little late but that's ok. I was able to go down to Provo to be with my family for Thanksgiving and I got to see a bunch of friends while down there.

So a good friend Jill just got engaged and I am so excited for her! So a bunch of us got together one night to go out to dinner and so I could meet her fiance and APPROVE! Oh, and by the way, I do approve. They couldn't be more perfect for each other. I absolutely love the girls that came with us, some of them I haven't seen in like a year so it was so much fun to catch up and to laugh about all of our fun times.

The second picture down from the right are probably my two most favorite people, Jill and Chelsea. I met these two girls a few months after my accident and from the time we met we have become such dear friends. They've been there in my happiest times and been there for me to have a shoulder to cry on. We don't get to see each other as much as we used to, but with these two girls in the room it's a party and I love them.

So these pictures are a little bit embarassing and funny at the same time but that's ok. Aubrey and I were waiting in my van for a friend right before we went to In-N-Out and well, we got a little bored waiting so we decided to use my camera to entertain us. I hope you guys enjoy these pictures and hopefully Aubrey won't kill me for putting them up. Haha, love you girl! IN -N-OUT HAS FINALLY COME TO PROVO!! :)

Yes, the rumors are all true. We finally have an In-N-Out like ten minutes away from my house and that was probably the one thing I was most excited for when going to Provo was to get a good hamburger and fries. The last time I was here was about three and a half years ago in good old Southern California. And I have to admit while we were eating here a part of me felt like I was in California. Lol. :) I went with Justin and Andrea who are soon to be married on the 8th of January. Woot woot! It was a lot of fun. Luckily we went right before the lunch rush so we didn't have to stand in line for very long. As much as I love In-N-Out, I don't think I would stand in a three hour line. Of course, we had to be cool and get some sweet lookin hats.

Well Thanksgiving break quickly came to an end and now it is almost time for Christmas Break to start. I'm in finals week and hopefully I do good on all my tests and then no school for a month! I can't believe how time flies. But I'm loving life and couldn't be happier. :)

Conference weekend.

Yes, I know, this was a long time ago, but that's ok. Conference weekend I was able to go down to Provo and see my beautiful neice, Sophia, and isn't she just the cutest! Especially that bottom left picture, lol! Anyways, I was lucky enough to get tickets to the second session of conference on Saturday. I went with my good friend Maria (top right). It was so much fun! And spiritual, might I add. I absolutely love conference! It is one of my most favorite times of year, where for two days I get to hear from the great leaders of our church and learn so much! While we were waiting for conference to start, my cousin, Nancy, decided to scare the crap out of me! Of course, that was not intentional. I guess I'm just a really jumpy person. Anyways, that's the first time I got to see her since she got married. So I was lucky enough to meet her new husband. And can I just say they are the cutest couple! After conference, Maria, her sisters, and I all went to Cafe Rio. Mmmmmmmmm! I love this place! All in all, it was a really fun weekend! I can't wait to read the conference talks again in the Ensign. Which, by the way, I just got. Perfect! :)

A fun weekend with Aubrey!!!

This is probably my new favorite picture of us. It was right before they left back to Provo. And the sun was shining bright, as you can see! Haha! :)

Ok, so I haven't blogged in a really long time, and to be honest, I don't really have an excuse. Anyways, at the end of September my best friend Aubrey came to visit me. Her husband had a flying competition thing and so we hung out for the weekend, and it was so much fun! Let me tell you a little bit about Aubrey. We have been friends since we were about 9 years old, and I love her to death! She's always been there for me and she is such a great example. It's crazy that she is married now. So we definitely cherish the time we have together.

We were having a little fun with the camera. And this is the only funny face I could think of, lol!

So, Jessica, Aubrey's sister, is currently serving a mission in Florida. So we decided to have a little photo shoot, this is probably one of the best ones so we decided to send it to her, and it has just been a long time since we have taken pictures together. Aubrey is the most amazing person and she is always there for me in the times that I need her most. Pretty much, she is just cool beans. :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you, Aubs!

Let The Fun Begin...

So, apparently I'm not very good at this blogging thing, becuase it's been like three months. So let me catch you up on the adventures of a new school year. I moved up to Logan on August 23, and my awesome brothers helped move me in. (Thanks guys.) It was definitely a busy and stressful day. Those of you who know me really well know that me and change do not mix. In other words, I was super nervous and was very anxious about moving to a new place and getting new roommates. So much, in fact, I actually made myself sick. Surprise, surpirse... But it all turned out good in the end. I have three roommates: Alicia, Aspen, and Melanie. We have definitely had some very fun times so far. It's always fun getting to know new girls. School is definitely kicking my butt this year. Although I'm only taking four classes, I'm super busy and constanty studying and doing homework.... Except for now that is. :) I've been meeting some pretty cool people in my classes. And, I'm lucky to have a class with Mrs. Britney Herdman, well I guess it's Mangelson now lol, and Miss Ashely Ropolo who was one of my roommates from last year. We all have Criminology together. What an interesting class... NOT! Well, this week was probably my most stressful week so far. I had two tests, a paper, and a presentation. Oh, and in case you're wondering, I hate talking in front of a lot of people. But I was glad when it was over. Let's hope I got a good grade because I think I did well. Of course, Utah State always has the best 80's dance at the beginning of every year. I went with Kaitlin and Emily, and had a BLAST!!! Although I was a little bummed when I got there and realized my camera was dead, but I managed to get one picture. Woo hoo!
Now don't we look like we just walked out of the 80's! It was so much fun getting ready for the dance. When we got to the dance it was totally packed. And of course, there always has to be a little chaos at a dance. Meaning, some lame person decided to pull the fire alarm and it was crazy trying to get out of the TSC. Luckily, I found a way out since all of the elevators were not working. It was definitely an adventure. ;) Well, anyways, this post is definitely a little pictureless, but that's ok. Next time I'll be sure to put up more pictures. And hopefully I can be a little bit better at blogging. Well, anyways, it's been real! Until next time! :)

Only the coolest 4th of July EVER!!!

So this is only a week and a half late... but that's ok. My 4th of July was so awesome! Me and my brothers all went to the annual 4th of July parade here in Provo, and it was crazy fun. It amazes me how many people wake up early or spend the night all over the parade route to watch all the exciting floats, and of course, the giant balloons lol. This great holiday just brings families together. If you've never been to Provo for the 4th of July, it is the place to be.Daniel and Antoinette brought little baby Sophia to the parade. And isn't her outfit cute... Well I'm biased because I'm the one who got it for her ha ha.
After the parade Jeremy, Jeffrey, Daniel, Antoinette, and I all walked down to the Freedom Festival. It was crazy hot, and I swear a thousand people were there but it was still crazy fun. It was still lots of fun to walk around and look at all the boutiques and little shops. There were some pretty interesting things, and of course, lots of cute items as well. After a while of walking around, we all went and relaxed under a tree and listened to the great performers they had.
These pics were right before Stadium of fire started, we were super excited
The other best part of the day was going to the Stadium of Fire with my friends Maria and Fred. It was sooo much fun!! Shedaisy and the Jonas Brothers were the performers. Jonas Brothers aren't my favorite, but they actually did a really good job. Everyone was going crazy when they came onstage.
So Maria and I got a little glowstick happy haha. We all had them all over us oh ya and hanging every place on my chair it was great.

You gotta watch this video. The fireworks are just awesome, and a great song to go along with it!
Well the whole night was a blast. We had great seats and an amazing firework show. I have to say I think this years Stadium of Fire totally beats out last years. In your face Miley Cyrus! Lol She just didn't put on a good show last year. But the Jonas Brothers and Shedaisy did awesome. Oh and also Glenn Beck. All in all it was just a great day. I loved it!! I've decided the 4th of July is my new favorite holiday. :)
See, told ya we got a little glow stick happy lol.

5K race

So every year there is a 5 k run walk and roll race I did it a couple years ago, and I had a lot of fun so I decided to do it again this year. Tiffani, Mallory, Carolyn, and my roommate Melissa all did it with me. It was so much fun, but it was definitely an early morning. These are just a couple of pictures right before the race started.
The race started at 8 in the morning and I went as fast as I could for the whole 3 miles. Everybody kept up with me the whole way, and I was going pretty fast. My chair goes like 13 miles an hour so I was zooming by lots of people. There were times when I definitely wanted to stop and rest because my arm was so tired but I persisted. On to the end!

Ha ha, so as we were running we saw a lot of cops blocking the roads. So we all thought it would be fun to have a cop radar me when I was going as fast as I could to see the exact mph. Ha ha ha. It was really quite entertaining. He even pretended to give me a ticket and put handcuffs on me for going to fast. It was pretty funny. But my brother has those pics.

Woohoo!!! I got first place in the Wheelchair Division. I beat like 6 other ones. Mallory and Tiffani got 2nd and 3rd in their division. I'm so glad that I did this, I had a blast!!! Three of us got a medal, and I'm glad that I could hang with my buds, Mallory and Tiffani. And of course, my roommate Melissa was amazing to do it with me too. It was definitely a memorable morning! :)

Welcome to My Life

Ok ok I finally gave in and here it is, my first blog: Welcome to My Life. I figure this will be a good thing because it will help me journal my life. Recently the most exciting event in my life is that I have a brand new niece. Now isn't she just the cutest thing ever?? Her name is Sophia Grace and she was 6 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 inches long. She was born on Father's Day, the 21st. My brother Dan is now a dad for the first time. Happy Father's Day to Him!

I'm the luckiest to be the aunt of my two nieces and one nephew. I'm excited that, slowly, our family is starting to grow. Sunday was such a fun day to get the phone call from Antoinette that she had her baby. Although we did argue for ten minutes because I didn't believe her. Ha ha it was quite the interesting conversation. Well, Anyways I know Dan and Antoinette will be great parents. :) I hope you enjoyed this. Until next time, Peace.
